How the “one active brief” model works
I only ever work on one job at a time. But that doesn’t mean everything pauses while you’re reviewing.
In practice, it looks like this:
You send a packaging request → I start working on it → You get the first draft for review → While you’re looking it over, I pick up the next brief in the queue and start that → Your packaging feedback comes back → It re-enters the queue for revisions → I work through the queue in order
At no point am I juggling two jobs simultaneously. The queue keeps moving forward during business hours and everything gets proper attention.
Why this matters: You get consistent, focused work instead of rushed designs. I stay sane instead of context-switching between five different briefs. Everyone wins.

What’s NOT included:
• Brand strategy sessions beyond monthly check-ins (in-depth strategy work remains separate and billable)
• Photography production or creative shoots
• Website development (I design the assets, not build the site)
• Complex animation or video editing
• Custom hand-drawn illustration
• Third-party costs (printing, licensed stock imagery, custom fonts)
If you need any of these, we can discuss adding them on separately or adjusting your package.
Is it right for you?

How it works
The commitment:
• 3-month minimum term, then month-to-month
• 30 days’ notice to cancel after the initial 3 months
• Invoiced monthly in advance
• Maximum of two clients at any one time (application basis)
The rhythm:
• You send requests whenever they come up
• I work through the queue during standard business hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm)
• Requests received outside these hours are picked up the next working day
• Turnaround times are measured in working days only
Flexibility:
• You can pause your subscription up to twice per year (minimum 2 weeks, maximum 4 weeks total annually)
• I take planned holidays and notify you at least two weeks in advance
• During my holidays, your subscription pauses so you’re not paying for time I’m unavailable
• Rush and out-of-hours work is available at £100 per hour if you need it
Fee reviews:
Membership fees are reviewed every six months. If your usage consistently exceeds the equivalent hours covered by your fee, I reserve the right to propose a revised rate with 30 days’ notice. If we can’t agree, either party can end the membership with 30 days’ notice.
FAQ
How is this different from Part of the Team?
Part of the Team is for strategic partnership; strategy sessions, ongoing direction, thinking two steps ahead. Unlimited Design is all the design output you need, with monthly strategy check-ins to keep you aligned. Pick the one (or both) that fits your business.
What if I need something that’s not on the “Included” list?
Get in touch and we’ll talk about it. Some things can be added to the membership, some things we’d handle separately. The point is to be flexible, not to say no.
Can I pause my subscription if I’m quiet one month?
Yes. You can pause up to twice per year, with a minimum of two weeks’ notice and a maximum of four weeks paused time annually. My holiday periods don’t count toward your pause allowance.
What if I don’t use all my design capacity one month?
That’s fine. The value isn’t in using ‘X hours’ per month, it’s in knowing you have capacity available whenever you need it. Some months you’ll use more, some less.
Do I need to be in Essex to work together?
Nope. Everything happens via WhatsApp, email or Notion. I work with clients all over the UK.
What if I need rush work?
Rush and out-of-hours work is available at £100 per hour if you need something turned around faster than the standard 1–2 day window.
What if the membership isn’t working after a few weeks?
After the initial 3-month minimum, either of us can end it with 30 days’ written notice. No hard feelings.
